The latest monitoring and control activities to combat poaching took place at the Tuyabuguz reservoir in the Urtachirchik district of the Tashkent region.

During the raid, state inspectors from the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection, and Climate Change, along with security personnel from "Golden Fish Group LLC", identified cases of illegal fishing.

Specifically, three offenders were apprehended for attempting to catch fish by casting nets into the water. An administrative protocols were drawn up against the violators in accordance with Part 1 of Article 90 of the Administrative Code. Each of them was fined in the amount of 10 BRV - 3 million 300 thousand soums.

In addition, 2,500 meters of fishing nets, laid in the reservoir by unknown individuals, were collected. The fish caught in the nets were released back into the water.

Furthermore, during the operation, awareness-raising work was conducted to prevent illegal fishing using prohibited methods.
