A training course on “Anti-corruption and monitoring compliance with requirements” was organized at the Center for Lawyer Qualification Enhancement under the Ministry of Justice. Employees from the Ministry of Ecology, the Forestry Agency, the Hydro-Meteorological Service Agency, and territorial units of the Ministry participated in the course.

The aim of the course was to provide theoretical knowledge to employees of government agencies and organizations to combat corruption within the system.

During the course, the main directions of state policy in the field of anti-corruption, international documents and experiences, responsibility for corrupt offenses, the origin of the anti-corruption system "compliance control", its elements, and main directions were discussed.

For reference: "Compliance control" is an internal anti-corruption control system, as a universal preventive system aimed at identifying and eliminating corrupt spheres in the activities of government and economic management bodies, economic entities, and their employees, by monitoring and ensuring their activities comply with international anti-corruption standards and recommendations, national legislation and internal norms.

Attention was also paid to issues related to employee ethics and responsibility for non-compliance, the concept of conflict of interest and measures for its resolution, as well as other topics.

Upon completion of the training course, participants were awarded special certificates.
