Currently, a delegation from Uzbekistan, consisting of representatives of the Hydrometeorological Service Agency under the Ministry of Ecology, Research Hydrometeorological Institute and the Scientific Research Institute of Environmental and Nature Protection Technologies is at the hydrological station of the Colorado River with experts from the US Geological Survey.

During the visit, US Geological Survey hydrologists showcased modern methods of automatic and manual processing of hydrological data.

The Uzbekistan delegation acquainted themselves with methods and approaches to hydrological monitoring.

For reference, Uzbek scientists and researchers are studying the experience of monitoring, assessing, mapping, and conducting targeted scientific research on the impact on natural resources, ecosystems, environmental protection, climate change, and land use.

The delegation's visit will conclude today, September 21st.
