On August 10th of this year, the second stage of the month "Clean Air" began throughout the Republic. Currently, each region is conducting a series of activities to reduce the harmful effects of transportation on the environment.
In particular, in the Fergana region, special devices are used to measure the thickness of smoke and the level of harmful gases emitted by cars.
It should be noted that during the second stage of the month, over 2,500 cars were measured in the region. Of these, 34 gasoline, 81 diesel, and 123 gas cars emit harmful emissions into the atmosphere, for which measures have been taken in accordance with the law.
Also, after repairing cars in service centers, cars were re-measured and allowed for use.
In addition, the operation of equipment unsuitable for repair has been temporarily suspended. As a result, the amount of harmful substances emitted into the atmosphere has been reduced by 0.1 tons.
For reference, the first stage of “Clean Air“ month took place from April 10th to May 10th of this year. The second stage will last until September 10th.
