A news item spread on social media stating that "decorative trees were cut down on the territory of a children's hospital in the Kashkadarya region." The situation was studied by the working group of the regional department of ecology.

The investigation revealed that 20 trees were damaged on the adjacent territory of the medical center's administrative building, 16 of which were felled at the base, while 4 Virginia junipers were cut down halfway.

The amount of damage caused by the violation, according to Appendix 4 of the Regulation "On the Procedure for Planting, Caring for and Using Trees and Shrubs not included in the State Forest Fund," amounted to 12,705 million soums.

In order to identify the perpetrators and take legal measures, the documents collected in this case are being prepared for submission to the city of Karshi's Department of Internal Affairs.
