There were reports on social networks about the illegal felling of two trees in the Yangiabad mahalla of Andijan district.

The Department of Ecology of Andijan region conducted an investigation, which revealed that the trees were cut down by the chairman of the mahalla, V.U. As a result, the plant world suffered damage amounting to 57,750,000 soums.

The relevant documents have been submitted to the district prosecutor's office for a legal assessment of the situation and the implementation of lawful measures against the violator.
