Saiga antelopes are endangered. A Memorandum of Understanding on saiga conservation was signed. This animal lives in the steppe and desert regions of Central Asia. The most powerful risk factors are: saigas habitats, including disruption of their migration routes; poaching aimed at harvesting saiga horns and meat; increase in unregulated wolf population.
