The Ministry of Ecology of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the "Falcon hunting solutions" company released 1002 houbara bustard birds in the territory of "Borsa-kelmas" and "Jasliq", Kungrad district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan.
The bustard is a rare bird that is endangered. Listed in the Red Book of Uzbekistan and the IUCN Red List.
For reference, in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, from 2017 to the present, 15,753 houbara bustards have been released into the wild
