Currently, in anticipation of the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the “Beautification Month” is being held throughout the country.

As part of the month, large-scale work is being carried out in the Republic of Karakalpakstan and other regions. In particular, 3,255 specialized cars were involved in removing rubbish from Karakalpakstan.

In total, since the beginning of the month, 15,723 tons of household waste have been removed and placed at special landfills. 23 sewer wells for rubbish collection have also been repaired.

In addition, 30 rubbish collection points have been repaired throughout the Republic of Karakalpakstan. Also, 911.2 hectares of land, 449 mahallas, 429.7 km of ditches and canals, 190.5 km of irrigation and reclamation facilities, 131.5 km of water bodies were cleared.

At the same time, 422.1 km of roads, 131 guzars, 339 cemeteries, 37 shrines, 124 production and service organizations and enterprises, and 466 economic entities have been beautified.

The “Beautification Month” will continue until August 30th.
