Representatives of the Ministry of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Change took part in the 1st International Media and Tourism Forum, which took place on July 21-23 in Konaev, Almaty region, Kazakhstan.
More than 200 people from foreign countries, such as Kazakhstan, Great Britain, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands, Moldova, the Turkish Republic, Northern Cyprus, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, and Kyrgyzstan participated in the event organized by the Public Foundation "Turkic Journalists Fund" in partnership with the Akimat of Almaty region, the Ministry of Information and Public Development of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Kazakhstan.
During the event, a presentation on "Prospects for Ecotourism in Central Asia" was presented by the Ministry of Ecology's press secretary and advisor to the minister on information policy, Lola Rakhmanbaeva. The presentation highlighted the advantages, disadvantages, and recommendations for ecotourism in the region.
In addition, forum participants visited tourist attractions and natural sites in Kazakhstan, such as the Charyn Canyon and Lake Kolsai.
For reference: The goal of the forum is to exchange experience taking into account new processes in the field of media and tourism, expand the information space, implement mutually beneficial joint projects, promote historical and cultural sites of Kazakhstan in foreign and domestic media, strengthen cooperation and partnership between representatives of the media.
