On February 21, the delegation of the Republic of Uzbekistan visited the city of Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan) to discuss and exchange experience in the field of construction, transport, housing and communal services and landscaping.

During this visit, the Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Kuchkarov, met with the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov, familiarized himself with the experience of the Republic of Tatarstan in the field of ecology, environmental protection and environmental management, as well as with the activities of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan.

Colleagues from Tatarstan demonstrated the material and technical equipment of the Ministry, its structural subdivisions, as well as a mobile ecological laboratory, an automatic station for monitoring air pollution. Special emphasis was placed on equipping state environmental supervision bodies with special technical means.

The Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Kuchkarov, also familiarized with the work of the Central Specialized Inspectorate for Analytical Control.

During the meeting, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Tatarstan Alexander Shadrikov shared his experience in reducing negative impact on the air and applying summary calculations, spoke about the financing of environmental measures in the Republic of Tatarstan, the implementation of the National Project "Ecology". The Uzbek side was informed about the inspections, places of unauthorized disposal of waste, about environmental measures being implemented, monitoring results, and experience in creating the Environmental Map of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The parties also discussed issues of further expansion of mutually beneficial cooperation, implementation of joint projects, exchange of experience, organization of internships for specialists, and conducting joint research projects.

On the same day, the Chairman of the State Committee on Ecology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Bahrom Kuchkarov, discussed with the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Public Utilities of the Republic of Tatarstan Irek Faizullin cooperation in the field of waste management.
